Positive team spirit is everything

Important win for us, not for the 3 points, but for the lesson we all took. The same lesson that was there for us in all games that we won with some comfort this year. It all comes down to team spirit. Yesterday we were a family. Being there early meant the players had time to have a laugh before getting ready for the game, then nicely into our warmup with comfort and then ready and concentrated for kick off. All this meant that our players were giving 100% with confidence and positive mentality. What greatly helped is that we had the 3 players that were not in the squad with us cheering us on an away game. This way opportunities and goals came naturally the same time the defensive operation was as usually flawless, pretty sure our GK was bored for most of the game. Felt like no matter how many times we played yesterday's game we would win it every single time. We are playing the same team at Douglas Eyre next week, hopefully rain & coronavirus won't stop us now that we are riding this wave.
