Congratulations on a superb AFA cup final win
CHAMPIONS We all met at 11am to travel to Woking which was so far away so we wanted maximum preparation time . The feeling in the team was all positive we knew if we turned up we had a great chance in winning the match and lifting the trophy . We started positive and went all out attack non stop pressing to see what Broomfield was made of and it payed off we go 1-0 up early through our gaffer John Mansford . We concede pretty much straight away from a through ball which we believed was offside but we should know by now always play to the whistle . We score again from mardi our main attacking player who was outstanding on the day so we go in at half time 2-1 . We have an inspiring team talk from John and Ross with our intentions don’t concede and if we score next we win the game . Second half relentless attacking and play Broomfield only have one chance we score 4 second half goals it should of been more really but credit to Broomfield they wasn’t in the final for no reason . Mykey Marsden with 2 very well taken goals Redon Abazi with a very well taken goal An own goal from there center back which gets over a million views on 4-4-3 social media All in all a great day out we learnt a lot about ourselves in our future attempts at winning the league . Every player was minimum 8/9 out of 10 most players having there best game for parms so far Motm -Alice Creagan as nominated by the ref , the opposition captain and the 2 afa officials hard to believe he is only 16 . We won’t be complacent we will take each match as it comes and only concentrate on that next up old manorians this coming Saturday
