Extra time win
One more adventurous cup win for the 4s, which thankfully ended up with one more last minute dramatic win that makes them now 3 in a row, leaving the players exhausted after another 120 minutes of great effort and commitment. The perk is that we are still in all our 3 Cup competitions, which means more football for us this season and hopefully some silverware at the end of these campaigns. Wandsworth Borough proved a very tough nut to open even with us having a very strong squad yesterday, but the taste of the win in the extra time is what mattered. Great team commitment and good fitness made all the difference as we managed to tire out a very composed opponent in the 90 mins, which let us take full control of the game in the extra time and score two goals. This is the main reward we get for having 16+ players on training with most of the players also doing their own excercise on other days keeping this way a very good fitness level, which is required to make that difference at the level we play.
