Underdogs through

We all met at 1pm and was very optimistic going into this cup match that we could pull off an upset as we was underdogs trying to get through to the next round . Our drills at training paid off from the start as we came out guns blazing .we won a penalty very early which Mykey our new player this season had no problems with smashing it into the net the keeper had no chance 1.0 . We kept creating chances with great play and 1-2s with the pace with have from reds, bilal & Mykey we was always dangerous . We kept trying to play out from our goal kicks and our centre backs and Tariq puts In the most gorgeous cross you have ever seen a strikers delight and mykey somehow beat there centre back and goalkeeper to head in going 2.0 . Half time we have a good team talk from John Mansford who was sitting out through Injurie and we made a few minor adjustments Second half as expected polytechnic come out playing much better then they did in the first half . We had Mykey and Habib come off injured but we had good subs to come on , The football was a delight . The battling was tremendous the spirit and determination was a joy every one played well but it was our man reds causing all sorts of problems for them We scored 2 more goals one more from our new player bilal who scored a beautiful goal after being put through by jack ( mr chips ) . And it was jack himself who scored a beautiful goal showing great composure . We kept a clean sheet for once but only because Matty rands cleared one off the line in the last 5 mins Special mention to polytechnics a very good team we wish them luck for the season And special mention to the referee Tom Barton who was a very good official Motm very hard to call so it goes as a team effort
