Well a big team beaten again!
this was a strong Parkonians team with experience and some lads from higher up. As usual they were big, well drilled, organised, a danger in the air and of course clinical. We had an astonishing 9 absent today so naturally i was concerned. I played in a manner that would play a press with wide options and then revert to a settled more technical 4,3,3. The wind did not help and hence early on we lost a lot of possession when trying to set up our strikers who were out of sync. The midfield did not talk and hence although dominant technically kept dribbling too much and missing simple passing options. Never the less we missed at least 3 guilt edged opportunities. At the end of the break we were on top without playing the best technical game. With changes of formation and the wind with us we created so many chances. Their corners were easily dealt with and as a result we were able to break quickly, poor passing and decisions plagued us. We we re so determined to score that the entire team went up leaving us twice with 1 verses 1 and even 1 verses 1 from what was a beaten opposition.
