Back to winning ways

Today we had again about 5 to 6 players away due to holidays and last minute pull outs. First half played against the wind and it was poor football to many long balls and final pass just not good enough to get a shot at goal. We played decent football and 1 2 touch for about 5 minutes until whistle to half for half time. Manager was not happy assistant manager jamie told the team how boring it was to watch and the team on pitch was probably bored playing and 2nd half needs to improve. First 5 minutes oppo scores makes us 1 0 down. That gave us a wake up call and we start playing to our potential the passing at times where at a high level and I could see my assistant starting to enjoy the game. The oppo where under the cosh and we kept on putting their defence under pressure time and time again with no goals. Our defence where battling hard and the communication was on point by Akeem, Isaac and Dyalan linked up in the midfield and passed to Dicey then he passed to Evardro to slot his goal with a good half volley in to the right hand corner 1 -1. Emmanuel kept on destroying their Lb with his pace and he found Isacc and Isacc passed the ball to Dicey to shoot low in to the right hand corner 2 1. The lads had more belief and we knew we was on top for the full 40 minutes of the 2nd hslf and a well deserved win. Pre season results dont really matter it's all about team bonding, gelling as a team and preparation for the league and cups for the season.
