Vets A came quickly quickly out the traps playing some excellent passing football. Two excellent finishes R.Thorne and D.Gordon led to a 3-0 half-time score line. The second half started the way of the first but chances going begging instead of the net. With about 15 minutes to go and the usual injuries starting to kick in it was backs against the wall time with the eventual victory 3-2 secured and well deserved.
