Much improved performance

This week saw the resumption of double training sessions and the lads gave a great response to a couple of very poor performances. Deservedly lead at half time in a 1st half that we totally dominated. The game turned on an appalling decision to allow an offside goal. The referee's performance remained questionable and a second goal was scored from a highly contentious freekick. A worldy of an effort into the topcorner from the Owens player. The third was on a counter at the death and gave the result a gloss the home side did not deserve.
