A good decisive win
A dogged display was punctuated by moments of quality to bag the three points for OPFC 6ths and bounce back from the dissappointment of a 1-1 draw in their previous league outing. A fine solo run down the left from James White was rewarded with a goal beating the keeper at his near post with an intended cross. It was just deserts for OPFC as they had had three clear cut penalties claims denied in an intense 15 minute spell of pressure on the Tollingtonians defence. Charlie Heath then scored the first of his volley's after a fine team move prompted from central midfield closing down, a quick breakaway and a centre from the gaffer sweetly tucked away on the full by Chi Chi. The game was put beyond any doubt midway through the second half by a ridiculous 30 yard volley from an angle by Charlie again; it will be hard for anyone to come close to challenge that outrageous effort for goal of the season come May. MoM goes to Matt Kelly who bailed out an at times leaky defence with some smart stops at key moments in the game. Let's take our momentum and intensity forward into the home game this week in the cup. COYP!
