Great win for starters

Considering this oppostion beat us twice last year. the 6th XI have started this campaign with a statemant of intent and a great result. The game began with a new look back 4 having to absorb an immense amount of pressure for the 1st 15 minutes, but from then on it was all parms and the result doesnt do the game justice. a goal from a corner opened the squads account with Deji getting a touch off his back before it was bundled in via a deflection, next was the C. Heath beating the offside trap to slot one cooly past the keeper, just a shame he couldnt do it again 5 minutes later to close the game out before half time. The 2nd half was a case of grinding out result with the game turning more into a series of small running battles rather than a game of football which was won by the parms in emphatic fahsion. Shout out to all players involved in the great result, and the clean sheet!!! Hopefully this is the 1st good result of many.
