Parms arrived determined to get their season back on track & ready to play an Edmontonians team undefeated this season. The 1st half saw Parms take a 3-2 lead, but still have room for improvement, with some poor decision making gifting Edmontonians their chances. Parms' desire was apparent, though, & Goy's well won header was played to Jomanday, whose neat first time strike levelled the scores at 1-1. Parms again fell behind, but Collins' great battling & determination caused the Edmontonians defender to slice the ball into his own net, making it 2-2. Luck's clever balls from midfield continued to create chances; Emmanuel's composure & covering in defence was first rate, & Goy won the aerial battle, heading through to Fraser. His pace & skill proved too much for Edmontonians, allowing him to score a quality solo effort. The 2nd half was a more dominant display by Parms. Cox & Tynan both worked tirelessly, giving everything they had, & Vickers used his boot & brain well to help run down the clock. Dushku came on & made an immediate impact, beating the opposition defenders with ease & testing the GK. This allowed Fraser to sit deep; with his & Wing's combined pace, & hard work, the two dangerous Edmontonians midfielders were tracked well. Dushku fired in a deserved goal, turning his marker superbly & blasting the ball into the top corner, leaving the GK with no chance. A great team display by Parms means that the cup dream is still alive! McWilliams...get ready for your pint!!!
