The hardest thing about writing this match report is not being so scathing that it's counter-productive. Against perhaps the weakest, most inept and, unquestionably, most moronic team Parms III's have faced this season, the away side started as planned, a slick and powerful move down the right wing highlighting Aloysians' weaknesses and being finished well by top scorer B.Dushku. Rather than this motivating Parms, it caused some to presume the job was done and that the win would come automatically. Aloysians drew level through a volleyed effort from their RB, who was left unmarked on the edge of the Parms area. This was symptomatic of what had been going wrong and, whilst the goal was rather fortunate, the home side deserved to draw level. Aloysians took the lead after another costly error, the ball being lost rather than cleared or played wide. In the 2nd half, the pressure showed. Parms became embroiled in verbal, the opposition taking the utmost pleasure in ridiculing a team clearly better than them, but incapable of making their mark on a match for the second week running. S.Wicks made an impact, shaving the crossbar with an effort and then heading close moments later. J.Goy had a header pushed onto the inside of the crossbar by the GK, but there was never any fluidity from Parms; a period of sustained pressure where the ball was played around and controlled. Marking and fitness needs to be addressed, and the formation is ineffective, so it's time to review a few things.
