Good performance not enough

Only 4 of the regular 10s turned up. We was lucky because the 8th team had a early kick off and 5 of there players came in and 1 9th team player linked. We started in the 3-4-3 system and the first half we came out 0-0.And should have scored 2 at least in the first half. A.Warry rb Devon cb and R.Jackson lb played together stopping Mafield getting through and even when it looked like they would smash through it never happen. James Turner in goal the deserved m.o.m played excellent making some out standing saves to say he is not a regular Goal keeper..He made a excellent catch dragging the ball out of the skys, it looked supper and two double saves keeping us in the game. 2nd half the system changed to 442 which was what the players wanted. This game could of been won but if you dont take your chances to see the ball in the back of the net you will know the score. Great game to be part of...No player could say they did not like this match. 10s would like to thank all the 8ths turning up at the right time for us, they was excellent.
