Just not enough firepower on the day
D.Chandler in goal has been great 4 the 10s but in the first 5 minutes into the game he did a howler. Now, 1-0 Down. Some players said to the coach to change the 3-4-1-2- system but he said not 4 a individual mistake, Then. oh no! this time a out of 18 yd box defensive mistake in the next 5 minutes. J.Massingham came on right away into lb which had a fantastic game and C.Foster also played brilliant at rb for 90 minutes. T.Blue & E.Joseph played in midfield. What a fight in there against the opponents midfield, supper. L.Looney and G.Maskell on the flanks was excellent and R.Frankling, D.Dyer, & E.Ibernem was coursing so much problem to the oppositions defence in the first 3 minutes of the game but the coach had to change the system to 4-4-1-1- E.Joseph & L.Looney were key players in the set-up. L.Looney moved in to midfield as planed A.Bostock came off the bench on the wing. E.Joseph E.Mehmet,D.Dyer on the bench for the last 18-15 minutes hoping for that 1 goal to come which would of took us into extra time. Chance after chance was not taken but what a brilliant fight to try and get us back into the game,and hitting the cross bar somed up the day. M.O.M E.Joseph who had a outstanding game scored from 30 yds, It was a screamer. That put the score in the first half to 2-1 down.. So you could imagine what type of fight the 10th team put up...The changing room was good because we all know we played well. Latymer Tuesday evening..Can we keep this up? Well played lands.
