No Xmas hangover
Every single player arrived an hour before kick off eager to play after our month off for the Xmas period. We lose the captains coin toss and start the first half with the low rising winter sun , heavy wind and slope and camber of the pitch against us but it was the oppositions second mistake of the day the first being them thinking they had the win in the bag the second being they don’t know we start so fast with the pace of bilal , Mykey & Redon . We play good quick neat 1-2 football ,good crosses and score a quick 5 goals Every one battling like it was the most important game of our lives . We come in at half time 5-1 up there goal only coming because of the sun and downward slope . We have a good team talk about to keep calm and complacent and not to do anything stupid and let the ball do do the work . We take it easy on them completing great 20+ passing moves from goalie to atttack the opposition didn’t have a single shot or touch in our box in the second half we end up winning 9-1 really we could of scored so much more but the dodgy pitch and conditions took its toll with our fatigue and fitness so all in all a great first game back . Great team effort Every single player putting in hard graft and dedication .
