We beat ourselves

We knew it was going to be a hard game with our time keeping letting us down half the team arriving 5 mins before kick off which wasn’t the best preparation coming Into this important cup match . We start the game solid passing well , defending well it was just our finishing letting us down we go 1-0 up but instead of keeping composure we start taking to many touches and keep doing the Hollywood style balls when we know all we need to do is keep composed and play our passing game and to keep it simple but our showboating inspires parkonians massively they come In at half time leading 2.1 . We have a team talk and play decent winning the second half the games now 2.2 Parkonians dont have 1 shot on the goal in the second half . Extra time we are confident we will push on and win the match but yet again too much showboating costing us and we concede a penalty at the start of the second half of extra time parkonians first touch and its a goal there only shot on goal in the whole 30 mins of extra time We push for a goal to take it to pens but to no avail We beat ourselves vs a ok standard team Back to the drawing board for next weeks game
