4-3 win on penalties against top opponent

We couldn't have found a better way to respond to the outrageous 7-2 defeat the week before, by qualifying to the next round of the London Old Boys Cup against a top performing team from 2 divisions above us. The determination of the players to prove that what happened last week was an accident, let us do all things right yesterday. The new formation worked great, the players defended with passion, managed to get good control of the ball in the midfield when in possession and especially from the 2nd half onwards created some good opportunities up front. Bottom line, a great example of what we can achieve this year if we manage to get our determination levels high in every game, as individual quality without determination and good team spirit is never enough.
